Tenuta Cavalier Pepe – Opera Mia – 2008

Dark ruby core but rather orange on the rim. Nicely spicy nose with hints of dark berries, tar and well integrated wood. The palate is rich and muscular with plenty of tannin that´s pretty well integrated at this stage, spicy dark fruit, good freshness, balance and a long persistence.
