Intense dark purple colour. Fragrant nose offering ripe cassis, plum, leather, tobacco and sage with mild oak. The palate is dense and muscular but not broad, nicely framed by ripe tannin and a fresh acidity, layers of finely spicy dark fruit and a long finish.
