Dark garnet core and an amber rim. Mature nose displaying black truffle, jammed, plum, wild berries and graphite. Dense palate, a traditional style with long oak ageing adding spiciness, yet pure with sweet fruit flavours, ripe tannin, yet plenty of them, long and lingering finish.
