Deep ruby red core with a paler tawny rim. Complex nose offering some sous bois, truffle, dried fruit and plenty of spice. Lovely palate with sweet fruit like blackberry, plum and bold spice flavours with a fine rounded texture and grainy tannin. Mild acidity but still a notion of freshness and serious length.
