Dark ruby red colour with a tawny rim. Intense nose with some balsamic notes, mint, dried herbs, jammed cherry and plum aromas with some new oak. The palate is dense and bold, still youthful with some roasted oak presence, yet with fine layers of spicy dark fruit, rounded tannin and intense lingering flavours leading to a long and spicy finish. Should still deserve some time in the cellar but fine potential.
