Medium to deep ruby red colour. Layered nose offering sweet red fruit, dried cherry, pain d’épices, wet tobacco leaf and some balsamic notes. The palate is ample and bold, yet with a fine core of tannin and acidity, digest crushed cherry flavours, plenty of spice and a long lingering finish.
