Italy,
Tuscany,
Red wine with a light towards medium deep ruby colour, developed without any hints of blue-purple really. The nose is appearing floral at first, with some notes of rose petal, then we have that red berry fruit; like sour red berries, like red currants and red cherry, some mild spices, a touch of ginger and pepper. Light towards medium weight in terms of texture, still youthful, quite fine, but still present tannins on the palate. Also backed up by quite high acidity, with I suppose for this style is quite traditional, giving those sour red cherry flavours, freshly crushed red berries and a hint of mild spiciness. No presence of oak and medium towards long finish. A wine which is still appearing a bit young, but it has a nice purity of fruit. Should within the coming one to two years open up quite nicely.
