Dark purple almost opaque colour. Some maturity and dried fruit notes with dry spices, butterscotch and oak. The palate has a high concentration and extract, still youthful but with tannins starting to soften, and a very long and grippy finish with layers of peppery dark fruit. Still needing time to open.
