Inky dark core with a slight evolution on the rim. Rather intense but nuanced nose with some evolution, tobacco, earthy notes with cassis, dark fruit and fine oak. Full bodied but the texture is fairly rounded and open with grainy tannin and a fresh backbone, fresh dark fruit like cassis and cherry with a long, dense and finely spicy finish.
