Intense dark purple colour. Fresh but ripe nose blending red and black currant with some tobacco, a hint of wood and aromatic herbs. The palate is full bodied with nice layers, red and dark berry notes, ripe tannin, an herbal spiciness but no green flavour, sage and bay leaf with a long finish. Still youthful with potential for development but could easily be enjoyed.
