Dense purple core. Pure nose, ripe dark berries, ginger, clove, damp tobacco and some balsamic notes. The palate is dense and weighty, plenty of tannin but finely rounded, flavour intense with pure and modern dark fruit, a wealthy spiciness and a long lingering finish.
