Dense core with a lighter rim. Fragrant nose offering cassis, plum, sage, tobacco and fine oak. The palate is dense above medium bodied with savoury red and dark fruit with an herbal spiciness, modest oak, a nice bite of acidity, and a very long finish. Still a bit youthful and tight but a nice potential.
