Intense dark purple core. Pure and ripe nose, jammed berries, plum, violet, fine oak and sweet spices. The palate is dense with plenty of sweet fruit, rounded and rather mild tannin with a fresh backbone, some vanilla and butterscotch notes, and a soft and rounded finish with a long persistency. Still youthful requiring time but serious structure here.
