Intense dark purple/opaque colour. Roasted nose of new oak and cooked fruit, some liqueur notes, kirsch and smokey hints. Dense palate, smokey and roasted with jammed plum and cherry, spicy and oaky with sweet dark fruit, opulent and rather long, still appearing a bit on the sweet side, should need some time to soften.
