Medium deep ruby colour with a tawny rim. The nose displays both ripeness and some maturity with new oak, sweet fruit like plum and red berries. The palate feels, however far younger, still with a presence of oak and firm tannin, fairly long but still restrained with an oaky finish. Needing some more time.
