Vecchie Terre di Montefili – Anfiteatro – 2008

Quite sweet nose with herbal components and dried fruit, hints of cedar wood. The palate is classically dry and fresh, more traditional style with elegant acidity, sour cherry, cedar wood and tobacco; not bold, rather linear with long finish - rather Sangiovese in style. Good.
