Dark purple core. Slightly meaty and smoky nose with dark cherry, plum, some new oak and a fine spiciness. The palate is rather full, with layers of dark fruit and spicy hints of clove, pepper and vanilla, integrated tannin, fine oak and a long juicy finish.
