Veuve Clicquot – La Grande Dame – 2006

Bright light golden colour with a fine mousseux. Intense nose, some roasted hints, crushed nuts, pale stone fruit, brioche, butter and some autolytic notes. The palate is dense, still youthful but with an approaching complexity and maturity, ripe yellow fruit, citrus and nutty notes, a fresh backbone, fine extract and a long, dense finish.
