Dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Rather traditional nose, slightly meaty with leather, wild herbs and dark fruit. Medium weight on the palate, peppery with dark fruit, a robust tannic backbone, some meaty notes and a rather long peppery finish. A robust style requiring time, give it another 2 years.
