Bright golden colour. Intense nose showing both purity and complexity with bold ripe fruit, peach, apricot, pineapple with some honey, nuts and almonds, a slight toastiness as well, perhaps rather from ageing than oak. The palate has good grip and bite, structured with good volume, fine extract in terms of a balanced bitterness giving lift and freshness, ripe citrus flavours with stone fruit, roasted nuts and a long dense finish, complex and developed with great vinosity and character, still very bright and fresh too.
