Italy,
Tuscany,
Red wine with some evolution here, the colour is rather medium-ruby with a tawny rim. The nose is quite on the traditional side I would say, with some gamey spicy notes there, leather, and dried fruit like dried cherry. Medium weight on the palate, with a firm tannic core, quite high acidity, with a dried sweet fruity character. There’s no evident oak in this one, so it’s again more on that traditional style that has got a certain aging. A hint of complexity thanks to that aging, with some spicy notes on the finish, but still towards slightly gamey, leathery. Medium weight, but still with quite pronounced tannin, with high extract and a medium towards long finish.
