France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Medium towards deep ruby-red colour. Fresh nose. Youthful with mostly primary fruit here. Like freshly crushed red berries, with plum, some mild spiciness like vanilla, ginger, clove. First impression on the palate is it is a quite juicy style, subtle vinification. So not a lot of tannin. There is backbone and extract adding freshness, but it is really more about that lush and juicy fruit. So a wine, which I would say, is still young, but with a very nice drinkability. It does have length, it does have structure. With this structure it should continue to age for a few years, but I find it pretty delicious now. Combining ripe fruit with freshness.
