France,
Burgundy,
White wine, youthful, rather pale yellow, bright. Youthful nose, still a bit restrained, offering some grapefruit, lemon, fresh almonds; discrete wood. Nice palate. Bone dry, classically bone dry, with well-integrated acidity, ripe acidity there. Still the fruit keeps within that discreet frame; fresh green apple, citrus. The oak appears a bit more on the palate, giving off some slightly roasted notes, some nutty notes. Medium weight, but good flavour intensity, bone dry, pure and fresh, with a long and crisp finish. Nice oak treatment, and nice digest fresh style of Chardonnay.
