Vigneti del Salento – Vigne Vecchie Negroamaro – 2014

Dark purple colour. The nose offers jammed berries, orange zest and sweet spices, a fair amount of new oak as well. The palate is off dry with some sugar, jammed dark fruit, some dry spices and vanilla, warm and rounded with vanilla and oak on the finish, far from a dry wine but should attract some.
