Vigneti del Vulture – Piano del Cerro – 2012

Inky black colour. Ripe nose of dark fruit with some herbal and spicy presence, prune and cassis notes. The palate is dense, almost massive with intense tannin, yet ripe and rounded with some vanilla and oak notes, lush dark fruit, a polished finish and long persistency. Well-made and potent.
