Vignobles Chirat – Clos Poncins – 2015

Light golden colour. Intense and pure nose with some stony notes, violet, yellow fruit and crushed nuts, fine oak in the background. The palate has good concentration and density, plenty of flesh and elegant fruit, well-integrated oak and fine extract/tannin giving a lift. Long and lingering finish, warm and ripe but still fine balance and freshness.
