Vignobles & Compagnie – Château de La Grande Gardiole Les Vieilles Vignes – 2016

Dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Ripe nose offering ripe dark fruit, plum, pepper, tobacco and some herbal notes. Good density and weight on the palate, high tannin but no hard edges, fresh and vibrant dark fruit with liquorice and tobacco notes, and a long and warm finish. Fine potential here.
