Inky dark purple core and hue. Pure nose without any new oak sensation, herbal, peppery and spicy dark fruit with good ripeness and layers. Very nice density on the palate, good layers blending fresh raspberry with darker fruit, raw meat, pepper and clove, it gets a nice lift from powdery tannin, a fresh acidity and a long lingering finish. Very nice.
