Dark ruby red colour with a purple hue. Ripe nose with darker fruit, cassis, black cherry, leather, tobacco and dry spices. Youthful but layered. Very good grip on the palate, full bodied with plenty of fine tannin, pepper, clove and dry spice notes together with ripe dark fruit, and a very long and vigorous finish. Still a youthful and unfinished wine but very nice cornerstones for long ageing. Very good.
