Inky dark core with a youthful purple hue. The nose offers some toast and oak with ripe plum, wild berries, garrigue, pepper, and vanilla. Ample palate, rather concentrated, still youthful with some present oak, ripe tannin, leading on to a long finish, ambitious and well-made, just needing some more time to soften and shed the oak.
