Intense dark purple hue. Intense and ripe nose with some leather, meaty, gamey notes, dry spices and inky dark fruit with a hint of brett. The palate is dense and concentrated with high ripeness, sweet dark fruit, prune, tobacco and meaty notes, plenty of tannin that start to soften, and a long and dense finish. Somewhat rustic with present brett.
