Vila Voltaire – La Faute – 2014

Dark bright ruby colour with a purple core. Spicy, meaty and peppery nose with dark berries and cassis notes, rather generous oak starting to integrate. Dense palate, still with a youthful tannic bite, nice spiciness and layers of dark fruit, and a long and spicy finish. Still needing ideally 1-2 years to soften but good material.
