Dense inky purple core. Youthful nose, still a bit restrained, high ripeness, pepper, bouquet garni, red and dark fruit. Dense palate, still on the firm and tannic side but good density and plenty of spicy dark fruit, and a long and vigorous finish. A wine that still needs a few years in the cellar to soften.
