Intense inky core with a purple hue. Modern nose with some new oak, smoky and peppery hints paired with ripe dark fruit, cassis and kirsch. Dense palate, still youthful with high extract/acidity, yet balanced and proportional with attractive spicy fruit and good length. An example needing another 2-3 years to open.
