Inky dark purple colour. Ripe and modern nose displaying some new oak and toast, some butterscotch and ripe dark berries with some mint and bay leaf notes. The palate has a fine concentration and proportions, ripe but present tannin, a fresh acidity underneath the ripe dark fruit, some oak presence, smoky and spicy with a long and opulent finish. Nicely done, good now but better in 3-5 years.
