Villa Franciacorta – Boké Noir – 2013

Medium deep pink colour with an orange hue and vivid fine bubbles. Fine nose, intense and layered with crushed red berries, red citrus, grape and some gingerbread spices. The palate has a fresh bite, bone dry working as a nice contrast to the rather ripe and opulent red fruit, a fine creaminess on the finish, good persistency and purity. Well-balanced but still youthful without aged complexity, should continue to develop well.
