Villa Franciacorta – Diamant – 2010

Medium deep golden colour and rather fine bubbles, showing a slight maturity. The nose is also showing some evolution with nutty and buttery notes, rather ripe fruit towards windfall, ripe plum and pear, reminiscent almost of a sweet wine or touch of botrytis. The palate is lush and creamy with bold fruit, a mild mousse, exotic and creamy flavours, medium towards long finish, certainly ready to drink, not for longer ageing.
