Villa Matilde – Tenute di Altavilla – 2008

Dark ruby core and a tawny rim, the nose displays dry spices, herbs and dried fruit - prune, figs, dates, the palate has a dense core, quite tannic but balanced with good freshness, lingering flavours and quite long finish.
