Chile,
Cachapoal Valley,
Very inky purple colour here, dense core. Intense nose, youthful. With hints of violet, really dark fruit; such as blackberry, cassis. A slight herbal presence; sage, anise seed, some peppery notes. Good grip on the palate. Medium weight, medium towards full, I would say. Still appearing really youthful with that dense inky fruit. Moderate acidity here. Quite mellow, balanced acidity I should say. There is some oak noticeable on the palate, it wasn't really clear on the nose. Then we have some of that herbal spiciness on the finish. Quite loose in terms of texture. It is not very tannic. So good drinkability already. Even though it will develop more nuance from further cellaring. Yeah, I would call it perfectly drinkable today.
