Viña Las Perdices – Don Juan – 2013

Dense dark purple core. Intense nose dominated by new oak and roasted notes with butterscotch with dark berries. The palate is still youthful and highly roasted dominated by oak, dark sweet fruit and some spicy notes. A bit restrained fruit, youthful tannin and a quite long warm aftertaste with oaky flavours and a quite dry finish. Needs time for the oak to settle.
