Argentina,
Mendoza,
Youthful white wine with a slight hint of a green tinge, there is a rather pale, straw colour. Pure nose, very aromatic. Clearly unoaked style, clearly sauvignon style. I would say it is displaying some of those green things that I associate with Sauvignon, some herbal, slightly riper still this is like freshly cut grass. And then we have some notes of gooseberry and kiwi. And then a bit more bit more ripeness as well turning into the yellow fruity segment. But a lot of intensity in this one, good purity. Fresh palate with a good bite. Really zesty there with flavours of lemon and lime zest. Well-kept acidity, and no evidence of oak. There is a slight nuttiness on the finish, some notes of almond and medium towards long finish. In a clean crisp and really refreshing style.
