Viña Mancura – Guardián Reserva – 2013

Deep dark purple core. Aromatic and pure nose showing ripe fruit like cassis, dark berries, violet and some herbal notes like sage and mint. Dense palate with fine extraction, good grip and backbone but ripe tannin, a fresh acidity, layers of inky dark fruit crushed black currant with a fresh herbal spiciness and a long juicy finish. Nice drinkability and some complexity.
