Intense dark purple colouring the glass. Ripe dark fruit, some new oak, spice box and aromatic herbs on the nose. Dense palate still youthful with high level of tannin, a bit dry mid palate but with pure dark fruit, cherry and cassis notes. Fairly long but still restrained by tannin.
