Chile,
Cachapoal Valley,
Medium to high concentration of colour. It is rather ruby-red not so much blue or purple there. So it has gotten some evolution there. Sweet nose, mainly of cassis, some black currant, caramel. Sweet plum. Also with a certain herbal presence, some aromatic herbs, sage, mint leaf, black tea. Medium weight on the palate. Quite subtle and rounded texture. Sweet fruit with a quite mellow acidity there. There is a fine herbal spiciness going on, peppery notes. More fruit-forward style. No noticeable oak really. Quite a long finish. Still a bit youthful but already, thanks to the subtle texture, I think it should drink pretty well. I think it should gain a bit more from another two to three more years in the cellar.
