Viñedos Alonso del Yerro – Alonso del Yerro – 2012

Inky dark colour. Very ripe nose, some balsamic notes, jammed fruit, prune and sweet oak. The palate is very dense with a sensation of sweetness, new oak, vanilla and plenty of tannin, slightly austere and slight balsamic, it has tremendous concentration but leans a bit towards a dry finish and firm tannin with sweet oak and cooked fruit, feels a bit dissipated to me.
