Virna Borgogno – Barolo del Comune di Barolo – 2012

Dark ruby with a lighter rim. Dark cherry, plum and crushed berries on the nose, some new wood and dry spices. The palate is youthful with a restrained texture, rather firm tannin, full bodied with long finish, structured for sure, just a bit young in a more restrained style requiring more time in the cellar.
