Virna Borgogno – Cannubi Boschis – 2012

Medium towards dark ruby with a lighter rim. The nose offers some balsamic notes, darker fruit, pepper and clove. The palate is dense and powerful with good grip and weight, intense but ripe tannins, delicious dark fruit, a discreet hint of wood with dry spices and a long powerful finish, rich and structured that should benefit from long ageing.
