Vistorta – Merlot Vistorta – 2012

Dense dark core with a ruby red rim. Pure nose of tobacco, leather, dark plum and some spicy aniseed and clove notes with discreet oak. The palate is rather full still a bit tight with a tannic bite, good layers and spiciness with a long finish. Still needing some time to soften.
