Dense purple core with a lighter rim. Discreet but ripe nose showing a wealth of dark fruit, plum and sweet dark berries with a mild spiciness and light touch of oak. The palate shows medium weight with a still youthful texture and quite high tannin, dark fruit flavours with some leathery notes and a medium to long, quite tight finish.
