Vondeling Wines – Babiana – 2015

Bright light golden colour. Quite floral and tropical nose with yellow fruit, almond and nuts, a hint of wood and some spicy notes. The palate has good density and weight, combining power and freshness, layers of yellow fruit, dry spices and fine wood with a hint of smoke. Long, grippy and intense finish. A wine with plenty of stuffing, character and fine balance, far from the light and fresh!
